Emmanuel Rosario is a first-generation American, self-taught photographer. The son of Dominican immigrants, he grew up with an innate curiosity about America and understanding those who call it home. With a car, his camera, and venturous friends, he has regularly packed up his life and set out to explore. His photographs are rooted in the classic American style of ‘on-the-road photography’ and depict candid moments with people who choose to live outside of mainstream society. Using a cinematic style, he blends documentary realism and his personal aesthetic to create images that are truthful and immersive.
